Como 1907 Femminile is pleased to welcome goalkeeper Margot Shore to the club ahead of the team's first season in Serie A Women.

Born in Ottawa, Canada, Shore's journey has taken her across North America and Europe. After developing with Nepean Hotspurs and Ottawa Fury, she continued her football and academic career at the University of Pittsburgh before returning to Canada with the University of Ottawa and Ottawa South United.

A move to Italy followed, where she established herself across spells with Lecce, Pink Sport Time, Hellas Verona and Bologna. Most recently, the 1997-born goalkeeper played for Olympique de Marseille in France's Première Ligue, adding valuable experience at the highest level of the women's game. She has also earned senior call-ups with the Italian national team.

Now, Shore arrives in Como ready to be part of the club's next chapter, bringing composure, leadership and experience to a squad preparing for its historic Serie A debut.

Heather O'Reilly, Head of Women's Football at Como 1907, commented: "Margot is one of those goalkeepers that keeps getting better because she is incredibly determined. She is a good shot stopper and communicator. She is on the edge of the national team right now for a reason, and we hope to provide an environment in which she thrives".

Upon her arrival in Como, Margot Shore said: "It's wonderful to be here in Como. I hope to bring my international experience, my personality, and my ambition, putting everything at the service of the team. I think this club's journey closely mirrors my own; I really like this project."
