Como 1907 Women is delighted to welcome Italian international Agnese Bonfantini as the club continues to build its squad for a historic first season in Serie A Women.

Bonfantini arrives from Fiorentina with an outstanding record at the highest level of the game. Across spells with Roma, Juventus, Sampdoria, Inter and Fiorentina, the 1999-born forward has made more than 150 Serie A appearances, scoring 38 goals, while also featuring in the UEFA Women's Champions League. Along the way, she has lifted a Scudetto, two Coppa Italia titles and an Italian Super Cup.

Raised in Fondotoce and San Pietro Gravellona Toce, Bonfantini has proudly represented Italy from Under-17 level through to the senior national team. She has earned 27 caps for the Azzurre, scoring three goals, and has featured at UEFA Women's Euro 2022, in the UEFA Nations League, and in European Championship and FIFA Women's World Cup qualifying campaigns.

Known for her pace, directness and creativity in the final third, Bonfantini brings quality, experience and personality to Como as the club embarks on an exciting new chapter. Her arrival adds further strength to Selena Mazzantini's squad ahead of the club's inaugural Serie A Women campaign.

Upon her arrival in Como, Agnese Bonfantini stated: "I'm really happy to be here; I want to share my experience and my smile. I want to give it my all; I want to make this experience special. I was drawn to this project right from the start, and I feel very confident about it".
