Como 1907 Women is proud to announce the signing of Emilie Haavi, one of the most decorated and respected players in European women’s football, as the club prepares for its first ever season in Serie A.
The Norwegian forward arrives on the shores of Lake Como after winning the 2025/26 Serie A Women’s title, bringing experience, quality and a winning mentality to a team entering a new chapter in its history.
Born in 1992, Haavi has scored nearly 200 goals and won 24 trophies across an extraordinary club career. She has played in Norway for Røa and LSK Kvinner, in the United States with Boston Breakers, and in Italy with AS Roma Femminile, where she became one of the standout players in the league.
Her honours include nine Norwegian championships, nine Norwegian Cups, three Italian championships, one Coppa Italia and two Italian Super Cups. She has also been named best player in both the Toppserien and Serie A Women, while making 55 appearances in the Women’s Champions League.
At international level, Haavi has earned more than 100 caps for Norway, winning the Algarve Cup and representing her country at three World Cups and two European Championships.
Heather O’Reilly, Head of Women’s Football at Como 1907, commented: "We are thrilled for Emilie’s arrival to Como. She brings a wealth of international experience of course, and her play is still at an elite level week in and week out. She will provide a pacey threat on the wing which will only add to our already very dynamic attack".
Regarding her move to Como, Emilie Haavi added: "I’m really happy to be here. I’m in a beautiful city and at a club with great ambition, which is something I really appreciate. It’s clear that this club is committed to investing in women’s football. I’ll work hard to continue growing both as a person and as a player, and I feel that this desire to grow aligns with the club’s vision".
