Como 1907 is proud to welcome "Quelli che… con Luca ODV" back onto its shirts for the UEFA Champions League, continuing a relationship that began in 2022.
The organisation's logo will feature on the back of the team's shirts for the Club's upcoming Champions League fixtures, with the exception of matches played in the Netherlands and Spain.
Founded in 2011, "Quelli che… con Luca ODV" supports research into childhood leukaemia through the Tettamanti Foundation in Monza, helping fund work towards better treatments and, ultimately, a cure.
The relationship with Como 1907 began through the Club's own supporters, when members of the Pesi Massimi group introduced "Quelli che… con Luca ODV" and its work to the Club. What started with supporters wanting to make a difference has grown into a partnership that has continued for four years.
As Como 1907 takes its first steps in the Champions League, the Club is proud to bring an organisation that means so much to its community onto the European stage.
Mirwan Suwarso, speaking on behalf of Como 1907, said: "Quelli che… con Luca was brought to us by our own supporters. They believed in this cause and asked us to stand alongside them. As a parent, I could never imagine what it is like to lose a child, and when we heard about the work they were doing, we immediately wanted to help.
"For me, that is what being a community club means. Our supporters are part of who we are, and when something matters to them, it matters to us.
"Now we have the opportunity to take this cause into the Champions League. If we can use that platform to raise awareness and help prevent other families from experiencing such a loss, then we should. We are proud to continue standing alongside them."
Supporters will also be able to play their part, with a special Quelli che… con Luca patch available to add to official Champions League shirts at Como 1907 stores and online.
The patch will cost €5, with 100% of proceeds going directly to Quelli che… con Luca to support its work.
