Como 1907 is delighted to announce that captain Lucas Da Cunha has signed a new contract with the club until 2031.
Since arriving on the shores of Lake Como in January 2023, Lucas has made 129 appearances, scoring 20 goals and providing 15 assists across Serie B, Coppa Italia and Serie A.
One of the longest serving members of the squad, Lucas has grown alongside the club and played an important role in its recent history. He helped Como return to Serie A after 21 years and, after being named captain last season, led the team during the campaign that secured the club's first ever qualification for the UEFA Champions League in May 2026.
Commenting on his contract renewal, Lucas said: "In Como, I have grown as a person and as a footballer, finding a family before finding a team. Promotion to Serie A and the dream of the Champions League are not the end goal, but the driving force to always strive for more. I am absolutely delighted to have renewed my contract with this club, and I can't wait to continue this journey with the team, the club and the fans."
